The Chicago Board of Trade is the world’s oldest futures and options trade. Founded in 1848, CBOT members trade futures and options contracts through use of e-trading and open outcry. In 2007, CBOT was merged into the Chicago Mercantile Exchange to create the world’s largest derivatives market ever.
