A container is a train, truck, airplane, car, or ship's cargo van used to transport goods. It may be refrigerated or a controlled-atmosphere unit to maintain the products while they are transported. Standard sizes 10-, 20-, 24-, 35- and 40-foot units. A container is also referred to as a Cargo, Intermodal or Van Container.
