The Uniform Commercial Code is one of several efforts of uniform acts meant to harmonize the law of sales and other commercial transactions in all 50 states within the United States of America. The code affects various statutes relating to commercial transactions, including sales, lease, negotiable instruments, bank deposits and collections, funds transfers, letters of credit, bulk sales, documents of title, investment securities, and secured transactions.
