A planogram is a retail diagram on how and where a store’s products or services are to be positioned on shelves or displays. The planogram is a strategic tool of visual merchandising in order to increase customer’s purchases.  Planograms assist organizations in planning how their stores are going to look. Also, the planogram is a document/map, which details which height on a shelf the product should be displayed, as well as which products should surround the item.
