History for Digital Signature (history as of 08/04/2014 11:01:33)

A digital signature is a mathematical scheme for demonstrating the legitimacy of the digital message or the attached document. With a valid signature, the recipient has a reason to believe that the message was created by the original sender. Digital signatures are commonly used for software distribution solutions, financial transactions, and in other cases where it is important to detect forgery or tampering.
