Apps-on-tap (applications on tap) is the computer industry term for an application program or other service, such as e-services.  This application program is made accessible online for companies or consumers. The companies which supply the apps-on-tap are called ASP (Application Service Provider). In addition, the use of apps-on-tap is a form of outsourcing.
